This video demonstrates using the step inputs for Row 2 of a Doepfer A-155 sequencer for arranging audio. Eight different drum loops, some with effects on them, are patched from my DAW to the Row 2 inputs and all play continuously. The A-155 steps through all the different drum loops randomly (as set by the A-154). The sequencer advances in time with the drum loops, triggered by a four bar pattern. This trigger pattern also triggers a S+H filter on the sequencer output. The four bar pattern increases from 1/2 notes to 1/16th notes. The trigger pattern does not re-trigger the drum loops, instead it merely forces the sequencer to choose which loop you can hear.
