Neighbors Developing Divisadero and New Liberation Presbyterian Church have led a community-effort over the last 6-months to revitalize the New Liberation Community Garden at Divisadero and Eddy (1100 Divisadero Street). The site of the New Liberation Community Garden was originally developed and maintained by the SF League of Urban Gardeners (SLUG), but became neglected between 2004 and 2012. The combined efforts of NDDivis, New Liberation church members, Hayes Valley Farm/49 Farms, USF students, St. Cyprian's ARC, and dozens of neighbors have transformed the overgrown and unused site into a once-again functional garden space that creates opportunities for the community to gather and grow together.
