Got this other K-Pro once back here in Italy from the Philippines...
Judging by the length I had this wrong idea that it could have been too short for me, and maybe it could have been the good toy for the strong wind waiting there in Brazil.
I found it very comfortable, and especially in easy conditions as the ones in this movie...
This is actually the only time I went out with it since I have it, in few minutes I found myself immediately super confident.
Compared to the 5'9" Maquina K-Pro this one is for sure the board I would go for learning new stuff.
Its width makes landings super forgiving and helps a lot for stability, its wider nose makes planning faster and helps a lot in not using too much the kite when wind is unsteady...
I gave it to some good local riders in Latina (south Rome) the same day and they all loved it.
For an average weight rider, not riding in extreme conditions and with needs for a real waveriding tool, this is definitely the board to go for.
I definitely love to have it beside the Maquina, together they really make my board quiver complete.
Construction?? wow, I think never ever in RRD there's been something like this. Those K-Pro board are the perfect compromise in terms of strength, flexibility and weight.
From the headquarter I've been told that new ones will be even better because of the attention they are paying into every single area of the board now, distributing materials exactly where needed for enhance at top those three properties in every spot, right in the way they should be.
Looking forward for them!
Meanwhile... let's pray for some bigger swell over here in Italy before moving to Brazil!
