A "supermoon" (closest to the earth in 2013) was forecast for June 23 but heavy cloud cover where I live (Eyre Peninsula, South Australia) made it unlikely that we'd see much. I was heading home along a dark stretch of highway when I started to catch glimpses of the moon low on the horizon through the cloud. What the heck, I jumped out and set up for a timelapse with my Canon XF300 on the off chance the cloud would break up a bit. Incredibly it did for about 40 minutes, enough time to make this short movie. As it turns out the cloud created a great mood, a clear sky would have resulted in just another ordinary full moon!
