Near real-time video showing entire process
to remove old wide band filter, and install new
higher quality narrowband SAW filter in a standard
900Mhz or 1.0-1.3Ghz receiver Rf module.
This process is a royal PITA but after having done it
6 times, I think this is close to as easy as it can
be made to be.
One important note that you can't see in the video is that I have a good brass ribbon tip cleaner, and I use my own flux a lot to aid heat transfer from tip to solder, solder to pins, and tip to board. Also using a quality fine tip temperature controlled iron but it's only 60W, so don't need excessive heat using my technique.
