Pop-up cinema collective A Nos Amours, founded by film-makers Joanna Hogg and Adam Roberts, presents Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris with a spoken introduction to the film by perhaps one of Solaris' biggest fans, the award-winning writer Will Self at the Curzon Renoir cinema in London on 13th June 2013.
A Nos Amours is dedicated to programming over-looked, under-exposed or especially potent cinema, giving audiences the opportunity to discover rare cinematic gems.
This is the third short film for A Nos Amours, dedicated to the evening's event and to the fantastic opportunity to observe the mechanics and wonder of celluloid film projection, especially to such a sublime film that is Solaris.
