Step #2 in the Oklahoma Green Schools Program is to form your school's Green Team. Involving both the School and the Community is a crucial element in your students' education and aides in the implementation of the students' action project. Anyone can be a member of your Green Team including other Faculty members, the Administration, school organizations, such as the PTA and anyone interested in helping to make a difference. Once you've assembled your Green Team, the next step is to schedule your 1st Green Team meeting to introduce the 5 PLT investigations. You and your Green Team will explore the topics of Energy, Environmental Quality, Water, Waste & Recycling, and the School Site. From there, your Green Team will brainstorm ideas, issues and opportunities for student investigations at your school.
