This is a public safety message from Sheriff Bill Gore. Driving Under the Influence, It's Just Not Worth It.
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is committed to keeping drivers safe on our roads. A public safety message is now playing in local AMC and Regal Theaters to warn the public of the dangers and legal costs of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The video message will air through the end of November. It will also be shown during the Sheriff's Start Smart classes for new teen drivers.
San Diegans can expect a countywide push to get drunk drivers off our roadways for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Deputies and officers from other law enforcement agencies will be conducting DUI patrols and DUI checkpoints. Stay safe.
