Every season, well known and soon-to-be-known artists are chosen to design the trend spaces. There, they present the work they created especially for Playtime in the installations that merge art and trends.
In 2010, upon graduating from the Ecole Duperré, Sarah Philouze and Johanne Simonet created their creative agency Bowerbird. Like the eponymous Australian bird obsessed with color, the duo explores graphic principles by manipulating, compressing, arranging and multiplying their visual discoveries.
For this edition of Playtime, a Bowerbird installation will greet visitors at the front entrance: a giant meteorite followed by a shower of shooting stars made of magic and extra-galactic interplanetary materials.
