This reel shows some of the work I did on Lost Planet 3. I worked on environment art, FX, and cinematics. I tried limiting my reel to the more interesting work I did.
The reel begins by showing some of the cinematics work I did, using a combination of the Unreal Engine and After Effects.
The reel also shows some of my ZBrush. I also helped on UI work for loading screens and in-game screens for computer consoles found throughout game. Finally I show some in-game footage of work I did involving animated holograms and FX throughout the game, including lighting FX, helping the FX team polish environment particle systems, creating custom lens flares, and atmospheric FX. I also added the headlights, lens flares, and volumetric lighting to some of the VS's in the game. I also used Matinee to animate a ton of stuff in the game and created some crazy custom materials with Unreal's Material Editor. Working on this game was tons of fun, I loved it and got to work with some of the best people in the industry.
