ROUGH CUT: Final Should be Complete by summer 2015. Yomosis are drums, made from a special wood and lizard skin. In this sequence we see the tree being felled, the best piece carved down and decorated. The paints are made from the amu seeds (oily red paint) mixed with wapu (clay from the creek banks). This tradition was passed from father to son, in this case - to Filimon Imamo.
Thanks to Filimon Lowai Imamo (main Carver), Derrik-Waifo Plauni (cutting tree)
