It's our first time to went on a road trip further south of the island of Luzon, Philippines, crossing the Maqueda Channel heading to the beautiful island of Cantanduanes.
Catanduanes, once called "Isla de Cobos" as spanish conquistadores arrived in the island during during the early part of 1573. They came upon several tribes living in the thatched huts called cobos.
Catanduanes became known throughout the surfing world when it was featured on Surfer Magazine in 1988. Majestic as they call it, the glassy pealing waves will mesmerize you during the pre-swell season and barreling right hand overhead to double overhead waves during the surfing season and will give you that adrenaline rush, pushing your skill set in surfing into its limits.
