Twenty years ago with the advent of National Lottery Funding, the Arts Council embarked on a revolutionary programme that would transform the arts sector in Northern Ireland and improve the levels of access to the arts in Northern Ireland with the development of new, and the refurbishment of existing arts and cultural spaces across Northern Ireland. This short film showcases a number of those venues including the Alley Theatre, Strabane, the Lyric Theatre Belfast, the Braid in Ballymena and the Marketplace Theatre, Armagh.
