In Kerala there is a man called a Toddy Tapper. He is a professional tree climber who specializes in collecting the sap from the bark of the coconut tree. He sells the sap to the local Toddy shops. After a couple of hours, the Toddy sap ferments and becomes a sour and potent alcoholic beverage. Too much Toddy is not good for the body.
