How To Get Pregnant
Every month, a mature egg is released from the ovary. This is called ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs about 2 weeks after the menstrual period. The egg travels down the fallopian tube to be fertilized. If the couple has unprotected intercourse during this time, the male sperm comes in contact with the egg. This is called conception and the woman gets pregnant. Your chances of conceiving are best during the 5-day fertile period, two days before ovulation and two days after ovulation.
