This video shares some of the sights and sounds of the Ghan ANZAC Tribute 2013.
The Ghan train runs over 3000 km's North / South across the Australian continent. During World War II, many soldiers travelled to the front line in Darwin via the Ghan.
The Ghan ANZAC Tribute is an annual tribute journey that includes, amongst the many magnificent locations, a stopover at the War Cemetery in Adelaide River and the opportunity to participate in the ANZAC day dawn service. Two WW II veterans shared some of their stories with us as we shared the trip with train full of ex-servicemen.
