In the summer of 2008 Drew Daniels went homeless for 40 days in Chicago without money, food, or a place to sleep. He took with him a bag of camera equipment to document his adventure from suburbia to the streets. Drew's trip takes him through shelters, a carnival, park benches, Lower Wacker and a greater understanding of the homeless condition. Love is Free seeks to bring awareness as well as action among it's viewers, pushing them outside of their comfort zone to understand the marginalized through relationships. Drew doesn't call for distant charity, but for all individuals to get their hands dirty in the very personal work of caring for the world's needy.
