Lewis & Clark College's Campus Garden (affectionately nicknamed the "David Rosengarden") provides an opportunity for students to grow their own food, learn about seasonality and organic pest control, and connect over healthy and delicious meals. Passage Crampton ('15) and Kristina Nelson ('15) are this summer's gardeners. They generously gave some of their time to sit down with Living Mosaic and share some of their triumphs and challenges.
Living Mosaic is the Lewis & Clark Environmental Studies Department's student publication. Student editors collect submissions from undergraduates regarding a wide variety of environmentally related topics and publish a free book every year. Submissions of art, writing, interviews, recipes, and related media can be sent to email@example.com for consideration for this fall's edition.
