This is an experimental piece. I wanted to find out how well the camera tracker worked in After Affects as I had never had the opportunity to try it before. So I shot some footage of a gnarly old piece of driftwood that I swivelled around on a fluid tripod head (to try to keep the footage as smooth as possible in macro). I then tracked it and added some graphic elements that I had kicking around. Then I graded it using Red Giant's Looks in order to give it some "atmosphere". I didn't want to spend any money on this, so I probably spent longer creating the sound track than I did working on the video itself. I kept it short purposefully to get the idea across quickly.
