“Muslims do not ‘hate our freedom,’ but rather, they hate our policies.”

"Occupation is an ugly word, not one Americans feel comfortable with, but it's a fact.”
— L. Paul “Jerry” Bremer, head of the US Coalition Provisional Authority, Washington Post, May 26, 2003
In Full Disclosure, I follow a U.S. Marine combat unit through revolving-door deployments to Iraq, from 2004 to 2006. In footage shot at the height of the insurgency/resistance on the streets of Babil and Anbar provinces, the documentary reveals the cycle of tedium and terror that traps all within the amorphous combat zone, Iraqi and American. Full Disclosure follows the unit after the deployments with interviews at home of my main character, a Marine battling physical and psychological damage from two tours; additional footage; and reporting and research on Iraq.
