Since Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast the people and communities have been changed forever. With homes and businesses destroyed the residents of all the coastal cities are left to pick up the pieces. This film will tell the stories of these people.
The main conflict will focus around dealing with insurance companies, city developers, politicians, their friends and neighbors, and the unforeseen issues that arise in putting their life back together.
Ultimately, we want the audience to feel sympathy for the families effected by the storm. They would feel anger towards those who would seek to profit off of others’ misery and devastation. We’d like them to know the pain that is gone through when your whole life is literally uprooted and destroyed. We’d like them to feel hope in knowing that there are people out there willing to assist in any way they can to help a community, and a nation, rebuild.
