The inspiration of the film came from a conversation I had with a homeless man outside of Central Station over a cup of coffee. We sat next to each other and chatted about life, and how we got to where we are now. He was a well paid employee, but lost his job due to mental illness, and the downward spiral that followed led him to the streets. A simple and sad reality for too many people. Now, not every story is good. They don't always have a happy ending. Sadly life is not Hollywood, but if we thought about everyone as an individual, and that they had a story to tell, we would be inclined to learn more about them. 'Reflection' is a short film that comments on the fact that every stranger you pass on the streets has their own story to tell... it is what made them who they are today.
