It was triple digit hot inland, but heavy June Gloom over Palos Verde Peninsula. Surface conditions were a bit sloppy, visibility in the top 50 feet was minimal, but warm. Below 60 feet there was 20 to 30 foot visibility, with a chilly 51 degrees. We dove Hawthorne Reef, nudibranch central as usual. Second dive was the Pt Vincente Pinnacles. A first for me. Lots of great relief, also a good nudibranch site. I saw my first Anacula gibosa. And performed my 2,500th logged dive. Final dive was at the Redondo Barge. I was skeptical on entering, it didn't look inviting. But the bottom layer was once again cold, with very nice vis.
