A group of swimmers are came together to take on the challenge to swim from Dublin’s Bull Wall, in Dublin Bay to Dun Laoire Harbour on 7th July this year to raise to raise money for the Irish charity – Suicide or Survive (SOS). The challenge, entitled “Against the Tide of Suicide”, will see the group swim 6,000 metres.
Joe Walsh – one of the leaders of the group – said “I am like many people in Ireland today and have been touched by suicide and have seen the devastating effect on families and friends.
