So here is the gist of this story. There was this guy. He had some land and planted a vineyard in it. This guy was no good at vineyard-ing or whatever it's called so he rented his land to a few farmer guys while he moved away to some other place. When the time came for the vineyard to be harvested, the guy sent a servant to the vineyard to go collect the money the farmers owed him for renting the land. When the servant got there the farmers mugged him and sent him back. The guy was furious and sent an even bigger servant and the farmers beat him up as well… these were some pretty yoked farmers. The guy sent out a bunch more of his servants go get the money but the farmers just beat them up too and even killed a few of them. The guy had sent out all of his servants and all of them got beat up. He only had one more person he could send… his son. He thought to himself "I will send my son and the farmers will truly respect him because he is my son." Yeah… no. When the farmers saw his son they laughed and killed him. Jesus asked the people listening to him "so what should the owner of the vineyard do?" no one answered and he said "he will come and kill those bad farmers and give the vineyard to other people who are not as yoked." Can you say "foreshadowing?"
