Qualified 1st in PTE with a 2:30.1 (wet track), 2nd overall in Stinger group behind Peter Kraus in a sports racer. I got a good start, and #67 PTE Scott Willard in an SE-R was right on my tail. Scott slipped past me when i got a bad exit out of Oak Tree early in the race, but i got a great run on him out of Hog Pen and sliced right back into the lead around the outside of T1/T2 into T3. after that, I laid down some good laps and gradually pulled a gap (and Scott eventually had an axle go south, which caused him to ease up and limp home to the checker). i finished 1st overall in PTE, and reset the track record to 2:17.6.
