This video covers the 12-month long process of the formation and spatial transformation of the Design Incubator NOVA ISKRA, in collaboration with architectural studio Petokraka and numerous technical partners.

This multifunctional coworking space - and much more than that - is located in downtown Belgrade (Serbia) and was officially opened on December 6th 2012. Since, it has become the focal point for the local and regional professional communities related to all fields of design and enterprise, while it is at the same time the first functional coworking space opened in Serbia. Nova Iskra is a fully independent venture, initiated by a group of young cultural and project managers with the aim to connect the creative community and link it to the potential businesses, with the final aim to support the realization of their ideas on the market.

Since its opening 6 months ago, Nova Iskra has realized over 30 public education programs, initiated and worked on almost 20 projects and gave home to more than 30 freelancers and coworkers. 3,000 people visited the Nova Iskra workspace so far - to cowork, to extend their knowledge, to do business or just to dream together. And that is just the start. But the actual beginning of this important story is presented in this video.
