We came for peace

A Prayer “We came for Peace” is a multimedia story of Namreen and her mother. I met them in the women’s section at a Sufi mosque in Srinagar Kashmir. I was touched by the mother’s sincere prayers and I approached her and asked if she could say a prayer for me. Then I asked her daughter Namreen to translate the prayer. When I asked Namreen why did you come here, she answered passionately “We came for Peace”.

Namreen has a Master’s degree in Chemistry and her mother is a Govt teacher. She also has a sister living in the United States.
