The electrodes are displaced to the carriage of the line. On the carriage there are two wood bars incorporated, which have been introduced previously. Once the carriage receives the electrodes, it displaces to the alignment position in order to align the electrodes. Then the carriage displaces to each transversal strapping position. When the strapping has been performed, the carriage reaches to the end of the line and the elevator takes the electrode package, displacing and placing it on the electrode packages deposited previously on the scissor table.
While the elevator is operating, the carriage returns to its initial position stopping at wood bars introduction position. Then the pusher introduces two wood bars in the carriage and finally the carriage stops at the initial position, waiting to receive more electrodes.
