watchthetitles.com is a Submarine Channel website dedicated to title sequence design, featuring a growing collection of title sequences, making of stories, and video interviews with designers.
Not only is he the most productive title designer working in France today, Laurent Brett is also the only designer we ever met, or know of, who has had a puppet made of himself. He's a chameleon of a designer, able to master any style and technique -- be it full CG or live action VFX.

Forget the Film, Watch the Titles
Laurent Brett talks about his Main Titles, from the elaborate 3D sequence he did for Hostage, to the live action Main Titles for Jeanine. He talks about his graphic design heroes and their infuence on motion design, and a favorite part is when Laurent references the Main Titles done by French title design luminaries Jean Fouchet and Michel Saignes in the 1960s and 1970s -- crazy experimental title sequences that seem very psychedelic, judged by today's standards.
First published as part of the Watch the Titles 2 DVD set, the interview is now finally online for all to enjoy.
Interview & Director Remco Vlaanderen, Camera Robijn Voshol, Editor Daan Wierda, Paul de Heer, Line Producer Willeke Steenbeeke, Audio post production Pastelle, Voice-over Tommy Pallotta, Thanks to Laurent Brett and everyone at Studio Sabotage
