First flight of the day demostrate need for a pre-flight checklist. Was intending to test the handling characteristics in wind now that the gyro was on the frame, the accelerometer was on foam on the frame, the other sensors were with camera and batteries on an ear-plug + spring mount. Meaning it should produce a good image and be stable in flight.
However, the position hold switch was already on, and so it took off without calibration of position hold and now attitude control from me. Fortunately managed to put it down fairly squarely. At home I noticed the eye-plugs had been ripped, don't know if it was this crash or the one at the end of the third flight.
