Camera test for a spring-wound Quartz Super 8 camera I recently purchased on Ebay. The film is Pro 8/13 ASA200 Tungsten balanced, processed and scanned at Pro 8mm in Burbank. Some footage of my laptop and my photography workbench - guest appearance from my Canon 1014 as well. Most of the footage was shot using the 250 filter for the macro shots in the botanical garden, and I shot most of it at 12fps, just to see the effect when I slowed the footage down. The color is a bit muted for my taste. What you see in the botanical garden shots is a speed reduction of 50% in Final Cut on the 24fps scan. This is also an overscan, so you see the entire film frame, plus 10%. Overall, It's *not horrible*, but I probably won't use that 12 fps again. The soundtrack here is "Tideleftovers part 4 & 5" by Twinsistermoon.
