On July 16, African American community leaders in San Francisco gathered at City Hall for a rally and candlelight vigil in memory of Trayvon Martin. Rev. Malcolm Byrd, of First A.M.E. Zion Church, donned a hoodie, jeans and sneakers to make a point about racial profiling. His comments can be heard here along with images from the rally, which also featured speeches by San Francisco Sups. London Breed, Malia Cohen, David Campos and Jane Kim.
