The visuals were created using a scratch film technique. This involves scratching into old 16 x 9mm film reels and projecting the images to be re-filmed as footage. This technique was chosen to capture spontaneity, diversity and pace through image, whilst the grained quality achieved from the film and projection quoting existing nostalgia for dying methods of manual processing.
