Every year the Maritime Radio Historical Society fires up the vintage KPH station to commemorate the ending of commercial morse code operation.
This is a little edit I put together with the small bit of footage I shot that day (July 12th) and narrated for Ham Nation on the TWiT network.

Due to time and travel constraints I didn't get to the station until well into the event so I do not have any footage of the official start.
I plan to eventually make another scheduled trip during one of their Saturday operations and arrange to see the transmitter site. :)
