So as some people know, i've left education now, and i'm going through the processes of launching my own film production company. It's doing well! Got regular-ish work coming through, and my name is slowly getting out there. Because of this, sadly i've been stuck in my office for the past two weeks sorting out all the paperwork required for my clients, but yesterday i said stuff it, it's warm, this only happens in England every thousand years or so, i want to go out and shoot something, doesn't matter what it is. And this, this is the result of that. There's no story behind it, there's no characters to bring emotion, there's just lots of crops that i thought pretty and i hope you find them pretty too.
I spent almost 8 hours on colour grading for this video, as that was something i really wanted to try and get it as close to the 'walden' filter on instagram. It was all graded in After Effects, as i had to do a LOT of masking to try and get that HDRish feel to the footage. If anyone wants to know how i went about it, i'd be happy to answer questions.
Shot on the Canon 5Dmk3 using a 50mm and 28mm, all shot at 2.2 apart from the first shot which was at 8.
