Toy Box Escape is an interactive installation. Spectators stack white cubes in a closed room. Each building represents the image of an interior projected on cubes.
As in « Escape the room » games. spectators are required to escape from those spaces one after one by exploiting their surroundings. Using a wiimote, spectators have to find plans of construction to go to the next level.
The history of the game is adapted from Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale « The Steadfast Tin Soldier » : a one-legged tin soldier fell out of window and finally returned to his toy box after several adventures.
There are a total of six levels with six different scene of the tale.
