Coalescing new organisations and new people, dLux launched its latest initiative, MEMEBRAIN onto the ISEA stage. Over a 48-hour period participants bunkered down in the Urban Screen Productions office in the sub-stage area of The Concourse, Chatswood for the inaugural Memebrain Art Hackfest. We had software and game developers, robot and music makers, augmented reality and projection artists, videographers and interaction designers move through the space, develop ideas and connect on similar areas of interest. It was a great opportunity for dLux to connect with the different communities and showed the importance of creating a space where artists could bounce their ideas off one another and enjoy the act of making.
