I'm taking a video editing course at Plymouth Public Access television here in Southeastern Mass. To graduate, each student has to produce a short.

For my very first video, I decided to pay omage to my home that I will soon be losing to foreclosure.

Strange to say, it wasn't until I started making this video that I was able to come to terms with what's happening in my life. And throughout the week-long effort it took me to edit this video -- learning via online tutorials, I found myself awakening each morning around 3AM, unable to sleep because I was filled with editing ideas that wouldn't quit...and wracked with tears all the same.

All in all, what a brutal yet fulfilling experience this has been. I have much to learn and would really appreciate any advice and feedback you might offer me.
