Since March 2011 a powerful community campaign has brought people together in their thousands to stand up for what’s right... for simple common sense... for a ban on coal seam gas mining in the drinking water catchments of Sydney and surrounds. There's still much to do, but in July 2013 some of that hard work was rewarded with a big win - and sometimes you have to stop, celebrate and realise what's been achieved.
This video is dedicated to everyone who joined a protest, signed a petition, talked to their neighbours and got involved... and to coal seam gas protestors across Australia: Take heart. There is no more powerful force in this country than a community working together to stand up for its rights. Power on.
