The year I was born the snow was 6 foot high so my first few months were very white and all sounds were muffled by this wonderful white stuff. Tranby where I grew up was one of the first places to get the snow every year and I just loved it. How you could almost feel it before it started falling, the crispness and smell of the air, how bright everything became, the silence, the sound of it under your feet, the millions of different crystals, the snow castles, playing in it, skiing, sledging and making snow angels in it. I wrote snow in the middle of the summer in 2003 I think....A few years later my stepbrother Bent heard it and wanted to play with, he wrote the melody where we sing together it and here it is. Snow also turned into an orchestral piece in 2008 when I did my very first orchestral work: vimeo.com/48767298
