Our aim is to maintain the traditional Austrian culture and the traditional Austrian dances and music. Also our costumes are traditional.
Our group wants to represent the Austrian traditions in our home country and abroad.
The last journeys went to several festivals in Italy, Slovenia, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco and Spain.
The traditional costumes are called “Rosentaler Sonntagstracht” and the adults of our group wear red costumes and the youth blue ones.
The music consists of the diatonic accordion and the contrabass.
Our village “Keutschach” is situated in Carinthia, the southeast area of Austria, near Klagenfurt (the capital of Carinthia). It is situated in a small valley with four lakes. Keutschach has about 2.500 inhabitants and lives from tourism and agriculture.
