Enjoy this fourth video of stage presentations at Earth 2050, the free community event hosted by Green Change on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the big Cascade Room of the Mill Valley Community Center in Mill Valley, California.
Over a thousand people of all ages joined our Earth Day celebration, to enjoy informative exhibits and activities, fine art, good food, inspiring talks and music. We invited participants to help create a better world by taking actions such as: use clean energy, eat sustainably, live lightly and build healthy communities.
Our Earth 2050 stage hosted dozens of stage presenters, who shared their visions for a more just and sustainable world, along with recommended actions to make them happen by 2050. They included popular artists, musicians, speakers and community leaders from across Marin and the Bay Area.
Watch this video of our fourth stage session, from 4pm to 4:35pm, featuring these presenters:
• Intro by Emcee Kevin Morrison, Green Novato
• Lightning Talks on Taking Action:
- Sara Aminzadeh - California Coastal Commissioner
- Damon Connolly - County of Marin Board Supervisor
- Paul Austin - Play Marin Director
- Terrie Green - Marin City Climate Resilience and Health Justice Director
- Mary Sackett - County of Marin Board Supervisor Aide
• Earth 2050 Closing Talk by Green Change Director Fabrice Florin

By watching this Earth 2050 video, you will learn about collective actions we can take together to build healthy communities and create a better world. We’re also grateful to Maria Muldaur and the Red Hot Bluesiana Band for closing our event with their wonderful music performance (which could not be included in this online video, at the artist’s request).
Thanks to everyone who made Earth 2050 possible, including our wonderful exhibitors, artists, musicians, speakers, volunteers and team members! Special thanks to our partners at Mill Valley Recreation and to all our sponsors, including Good Earth, Marin Water, MCE, Mill Valley Refuse, Straus Family Creamery and The New Wheel, to name but a few. We loved your thoughtful participation and hope you found this event as fulfilling as we did. :)
