This piece was made for Discovery Education. It discusses several aspects of the Roman Colosseum, it's design and the events that took place there over hundreds of years. It was designed to be one long shot from beginning to end. There are several layers to the animation, including a layer for the crowds with over 6,000 3D people in the stands, most of which were hand-placed.
This version does not show the caption text that appeared in the end product which explains the various features of the structure. A version with the text is also available to see on Vimeo.
