We headed out of Huntington Harbor to check out one of the Artificial Reef's known as Izor's Reef. A new spot for most of us. Lots of concrete phone poles in piles. A great place to get an anchor stuck. The soft sand bottom seemed to keep most life off the lower poles. Those higher off of the bottom were covered in corinactus. We had reasonable visibility. We hoped to have similar as we headed to the wreck of the African Queen. Surprise, we had almost 50' on the bottom. You almost see the entire wreck. Highlights: Crazy visibility just outside of Long Beach Harbor, an almost donut of squid eggs surrounding the wreck, Pile Perch Mating and three Wolf Eels in one hole.
