Music Video Week. A Suspension of Reality.
An experimental music video aimed at conveying one person's transcendence. The piece was created with a special focus on narrative ambiguity and encouraging the viewer to feel something in an unconventional way—not to relay a definitive story to the viewers, per say, but to put them in a trance. Now it must be said that trances aren’t always lulling, or spurred by romantic, comforting items; rather, they can be caused by an unconventional melding of images that the brain need process before fully understanding. This “processing” trance is closest to the one that we seek, and the one that will drive whatever narrative storyline the viewer ultimately creates for him or herself.
