Dr Nancy Loucks has been Chief Executive of Families Outside since 2008. Prior to that she was an independent criminologist from 1997, having been a research associate at the University of Edinburgh and at the Institute of Criminology, Cambridge. She has a PhD in criminology from the University of Cambridge. Nancy was appointed Visiting Professor at the Centre for Law, Crime & Justice, Strathclyde Law School in January 2012
