During our annual camping trip to Prineville Reservoir, Andrew Hofmann and I spent many a late night pointing our cameras toward the sky, capturing time lapses of the stars rotating above us. We managed to catch everything from the Milky Way to a thunder and lighting show and even caught the aurora borealis.
Each night we had to compete with a bright, waxing moon that set later and later with each passing night. When we couldn't capture the Milky Way, we were able to catch the shadows cast by the moon moving over the landscape.
