I'm the assistant coach of the Eyre Peninsula Sharks Women's football team and our 18 and Under side had just drawn against the South East so we were all buzzing with excitement.
Both sides had just spent the half time break handing out flyers encouraging girls to play football and as the cherry on top, we'd been asked to join the young Auskick kids and older footballers to make the guard of honour for the Port Power AFL side.
It was one of the most exciting days of our lives, but it was a little overshadowed by the fact that Port Power ran around our guard of honour.
I filmed it on my smartphone - in hopeful anticipation of capturing the perfect end to a brilliant day for our EP Sharks girls.
