The inspiration for this short film came from a three paragraph newspaper clipping about a middle aged woman who confessed a terrible secret. I wrote a one act play that was produced and published. A few years after that I had a friend who was dying. In one conversation Paul revealed some of his "life's regrets." As he listed them I kept thinking, "But you could have done that!" Paul left me a little bit of money and - not wanting to add anything to my own list of regrets - I used it to make this movie. The film was shot on 16mm (really!) in a small apartment in Knoxville, TN. It was one very busy weekend. Jayne Morgan directed and starred. 28 minutes.
The blurb: A haunting tale of a woman whose life begins to unravel when she hears a baby crying in the apartment next door.
